Maintenance 1 Service
Use Maintenance 1 if the CHANGE ENGINE OIL SOON message comes on within 10 months since the vehicle was purchased or Maintenance II was performed.

  •     Change oil and filter and reset oil life system.
  •     Lubricate chassis components
  •     Visually check for any leaks or damage
  •     Inspect engine air filter or change indicator. If necessary, replace filter. (Additional Charge)
  •     Rotate tires and check inflation pressures and wear.
  •     Inspect brake system.
  •     Check engine coolant and windshield washer fluid levels and add fluid as needed.

Maintenance II Service

Use Maintenance II if the previous service performed was Maintenance I. Always use Maintenance II whenever the message comes on 10 months or more since the last service or if the message has not come on at all for on year.

  •     Inspect engine air filter or change indicator (if equipped). If necessary, replace filter.

  •     Inspect suspension and steering components.
  •     Inspect engine cooling system.
  •     Inspect wiper blades.
  •     Inspect restraint system components.
  •     Check transmission fluid level and add fluid as needed.
  •     Inspect shields, vehicles with diesel engine or GVWR above 10,000 lbs.
